Abigail Jones

Abi is an experienced Occupational Therapist who graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2009. She is committed to delivering high-quality neurorehabilitation to individuals with traumatic and acquired brain injuries.

With eight years of specialist experience in vocational rehabilitation, Abi has supported people with traumatic and acquired brain injuries, as well as those recovering from trauma, to identify and achieve meaningful and sustainable employment opportunities. She also assists clients in exploring alternative vocational pathways that align with their abilities, interests, and goals.

Abi has 18 years of experience working within the NHS and has developed strong clinical reasoning skills alongside extensive expertise in goal-oriented neurorehabilitation. She works collaboratively with individuals and their families to achieve outcomes across cognitive, emotional, physical, behavioural, and functional domains. Her experience includes upper limb rehabilitation, incorporating interventions such as Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT). She is experienced in helping clients with fatigue management following brain injury.

Abi is highly skilled in conducting comprehensive cognitive and functional assessments to identify both strengths and areas of difficulty. Using this information, she develops tailored strategies that enable clients to maximise independence, overcome challenges, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Abi is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA), and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
