Anna Chalmers

Anna qualified as an Occupational tTherapist from Southampton University in 2003. She is experienced in the areas of paediatrics and neurology, specialising in acquired brain injury, stroke, and a large variety of neurological conditions. Her main area of expertise is in the assessment and treatment of clients with cognitive, physical and behavioural difficulties as a result of their injuries, and she has over 19 years’ experience of working within the field of neurology. Anna has worked in the private sector alongside the NHS since 2009 and left the public sector to work independently in 2011.

Anna currently works as a specialist neuro and paediatric occupational therapist within the independent sector providing assessment and treatment to adults, children and young people in a variety of settings including homes, community, educational settings and workplaces.  Her clinical skills include cognitive and behavioural management, physical rehabilitation, upper limb rehabilitation, and vocational rehabilitation.

Anna is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and the Health and Care Professions Council and she engages with regular training and development opportunities to maintain her skills and expertise.
