Anna Laws

Anna is a senior neuro-specialist Speech and Language Therapist who has worked across the UK over the last 20 years also working as a Head of Therapy and Clinical Neuro Lead. Her portfolio includes work in both acute and community settings within the NHS, private healthcare and charity sector.

Anna works closely with clients and their families to support any difficulties with communication and swallowing which arise as a result of a neurological impairment. Anna recently worked with the BSPRM on the new  guidance for best practice for ‘Rehabilitation and Complex Disability Management in Specialist Nursing Homes and other Residential Units’ (please look at our team page for examples of biographies).

Anna has most recently worked within specialist multidisciplinary teams to support adults who have brain injury as a result of stroke or trauma. Her work includes supporting with alternative means of communication, swallowing therapy and supporting with cognitive communication disorder following a biopsychosocial model.
