Danielle is an experienced Clinical Psychologist with additional postgraduate training in Paediatric Neuropsychology. Based in Winchester, Hampshire she offers neuropsychological assessments and individualised interventions for children, young people and their families.
Danielle earned her Doctorate from the University of Surrey in 2006 and began her career in child and adolescent mental health teams. She later specialised to work in paediatric psychology settings, with children where physical ill health impacts their psychological wellbeing. Over her NHS career, Danielle has established new services, led a paediatric psychology team and continues to work in the NHS supporting children and young people with epilepsy.
Danielle has undertaken further professional training in the field of neuropsychology and has successfully completed the Clinical Paediatric Neuropsychology qualification at University College London. Danielle now specialises in providing neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation for children and young people with acquired and traumatic brain injuries and neurological conditions.
Danielle draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive and behavioural therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy (including the DNA-V model), narrative and systemic therapy. These interventions support children, young people and their families with adjustment to and coping with the impact of acquired and traumatic brain injuries and neurological conditions.
