Emily is a Clinical Psychologist with experience supporting children and young people living with long-term neurological conditions, as well as their families. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and an MSc in Neuroscience from King’s College London. Emily has worked across a range of paediatric clinical settings, including neuropsychology, diabetes, HIV, and neurodevelopmental services, providing comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.

Her clinical approach is collaborative, compassionate, and formulation-driven, with a strong interest in working systemically to support both individuals and their wider family networks. She draws on a range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and third-wave approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She has a particular interest in supporting adjustment to diagnosis, building resilience, and promoting psychological flexibility, and is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where young people and families feel understood and empowered.

Alongside her private practice, Emily works within an NHS hospital setting, where she provides specialist psychological assessment and intervention across multiple services. Her role includes work in paediatric neuropsychology and delivering EMDR within maternal medicine. She works collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, offering consultation and contributing to holistic, integrated care.
