Dr. Hannah Long is a Clinical Psychologist who offers specialist assessment and tailored treatment for young people and their families with neuropsychological conditions.
Hannah earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Bath. She has ample experience conducting comprehensive, specialist cognitive assessments and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support young people and their families in adjusting to acquired brain injury (ABI). She predominantly draws on therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (BABCP: Level 2) and Systemic Family Therapy (AFT: Foundation Level), as well as third-wave approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
Hannah is dedicated to providing holistic, empathetic care and thrives on ongoing learning and collaboration to continually enhance her practice. With a curious and open-minded approach, she strives to provide the best possible support for children and young people, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.
Alongside her private practice, Hannah works within an NHS hospital providing psychological input and treatment for young people and their families undergoing emergency or elective surgery. Hannah also supports young people and families as they adjust to diagnoses of differences in sex development and within paediatric adolescent gynaecological services.
