Dr Helen Thorburn is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 20 years of experience in the assessment and treatment of neuropsychological conditions.
Following completion of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology she went on to gain the Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology with distinction from the University of Bristol.
Helen has over 20 years of experience in the NHS working in inpatient and community neurorehabilitation, and as a senior psychologist in a busy Neuropsychology Department, working within Functional Neurosurgery and Neuropsychology.
BPS chartered and HCPC registered Helen offers cognitive assessment, rehabilitation, and psychological therapy utilising Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused models.
Helen’s diligence in keeping current with the evidence base, attention to detail, integrity, and exemplary writing skills make Helen a poster girl for our Totus Neurorehabilitation values and standards.
