Dr. Holly Davies

Associate, Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology

Dr. Holly Davies qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2015 and has subsequently worked in a range of adult services (neuro-rehab wards, ESD teams and community neuro-rehabilitation services, neuropsychiatry, and memory assessment services) across the South Wales region.

She remains working part-time in an NHS memory team, with an emphasis on diagnostic assessments, post-diagnostic therapeutic support and the management of stress and distress.

In 2018, Holly obtained a distinction in the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology at Bristol University. She has many years of experience working alongside MDT colleagues as part of treating teams in medico-legal cases.

Holly utilises a range of therapeutic approaches to promote adjustment and maximise self-management and independence. She regularly uses CBT, Mindfulness, positive psychology and ACT in her work with clients. In addition to her clinical training, she utilises her occupational psychology training to enable individual to consider vocational goals; she is trained in both occupational and personality assessment.

She is experienced in working with adults across the lifespan and has worked extensively with care partners, families, and their wider support systems.
