Dr. Katrina Bayliss
Clinical Psychologist in Neuropsychology
East Anglia
Katrina has extensive experience in neuropsychological and cognitive assessment across both clinical and medico-legal settings. She works independently in private practice and regularly undertakes specialist cognitive and capacity assessments, including expert witness work within the Family Court.
Katrina has significant expertise in assessing cognitive functioning, mental capacity, and psychological needs in individuals with complex presentations. Her work frequently involves detailed neuropsychological assessment to understand cognitive strengths and difficulties, support diagnostic clarification, and inform decision-making within health, social care, and legal contexts. She has particular experience working with individuals with neurological conditions, learning disabilities, and neurodevelopmental differences.
Alongside assessment, Katrina provides therapeutic intervention to support individuals living with neurological conditions and cognitive changes. Her work focuses on helping clients adjust to the psychological and practical impact of neurological difficulties, develop coping strategies, and work towards meaningful personal goals. Her clinical approach is formulation-driven and integrative, drawing on evidence-based models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and goal-focused rehabilitation approaches.
Katrina is committed to producing high-quality assessments and clear, balanced reports that support professionals, courts, and families in understanding an individual’s cognitive profile and support needs.
