Dr. Royston Hall is a Paediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist and our Paediatric Clinical Lead working in Bristol, South Wales and surrounding areas. He has specialised expertise in paediatric neuropsychological assessment and neurorehabilitation.
Royston earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Exeter and holds a Master of Science degree with distinction in Neuroscience and Neuropsychology from Birkbeck University London.
Royston has completed advanced professional training in Paediatric Clinical Neuropsychology at University College London and the University of Bristol, and is on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists. Royston is an integrative paediatric neuropsychologist who employs evidence-based approaches to support children and adolescents navigating the emotional and cognitive challenges associated with acquired brain injury (ABI). Drawing on models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the DNA-V framework, he tailors therapeutic strategies to suit each child’s developmental stage, intellectual ability, and unique experiences.
Royston began his clinical career supporting a community-based brain injury rehabilitation team and alongside his private work, he continues to work in the NHS supporting services for children with acquired brain injury and illness.
A long-standing member of the British Psychological Society, Royston also serves in an honorary capacity on the Executive Committee of the Division of Neuropsychology.
