Dr. Sarah Bodely-Scott

Associate, Clinical Neuropsychologist

Sarah is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 9 years of experience in adult neuropsychological assessment, rehabilitation, and therapy.

She qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2014 and gained entrance onto the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists in 2020.

Sarah is pragmatic, honest and person-centred in her approach. She draws on a range of models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, to support adjustment and coping with the effects of neurological conditions/injuries.

Sarah’s doctoral research looked at partners’ experiences of cognitive, behavioural and emotional changes in individuals with traumatic brain injury. This, together with her clinical experience, has given her an appreciation of the wider impact of illness/injury on families and relationships and the importance of supporting loved ones/families in their adjustment.

She also currently works as a Senior Psychologist in an acute inpatient and outpatient NHS Neuropsychology Department and has had previous NHS roles in inpatient neurorehabilitation, working within an interdisciplinary team, and in health psychology.
