Dr William Pearson completed the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2018 and he is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). He has completed further qualifications in Clinical Neuropsychology and is on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists (SCRN).

Dr Pearson has worked in the NHS and private health settings since 2007. He has experience working in specialist neurological rehabilitation in inpatient (in both acute medical and rehabilitation wards), outpatient, and home-based settings with a range of conditions including traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy and dementia.

Dr Pearson works therapeutically using a range of models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, narrative, and systemic approaches. His clinical and research interests include identity/sense of self and facilitating psychological adjustment in the context of neurological conditions for both the patient and their significant others.
