Associate, Specialist Occupational Therapist

Jo qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2007 from St Martin’s College in Lancaster and has extensive experience working both in the NHS and private sector in general rehabilitation, orthopaedics and Neurological rehabilitation.

She specialises in advice and support on aids and adaptations around the home as well as cognitive rehabilitation therapy to help clients to live their life their way. Jo also works as a Case Manager and is highly experienced in the management of litigation processes and needs.

Jo has experience working with a range of conditions such as Traumatic Brain Injury, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke. She can provide support around returning to functional tasks, enjoyable activities and work, utilising and educating clients in pacing strategies for sustainable activity. She has experience supporting people to manage pain, fatigue and general deconditioning post illness or injury.

Jo’s approach is client centred and holistic.
