Luisa Holt

Luisa qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2001 and has specialised in the field of neurological physiotherapy for the past 15 years in NHS and private settings.

Luisa has worked extensively within multi-disciplinary teams and with people with a wide variety of neurological conditions in hospitals and community settings. She has refined her assessment and treatment skills over time and is committed to her continuous professional development. She has undertaken additional training including Modified Pilates, acupuncture, functional electrical stimulation and vestibular rehabilitation.

Luisa has also attained a post-graduate Master’s degree in neurological rehabilitation through the University of Plymouth and has a part-time role as a research assistant at the University of Southampton. She has worked on several projects related to helping people with long-term health conditions be more active and translates what she learns from these projects into clinical practice. She enjoys working in partnership with her clients to gain a good understand of what motivates them to help them achieve their goals and improve their everyday lives.

Luisa is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology (ACPIN) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Vestibular Rehabilitation (ACPIVR).
