Steph holds an Adult Nursing (BSc Hons) Degree from the University of the West of England and has over a decade of experience in community nursing. Her passion for community nursing has led her to dedicate her career to caring for patients in their own homes, a privilege that she cherishes.
For the past seven years Steph has specialised in Multiple Sclerosis, as a member of the Community Neurology Team, and is an advocate for the profound benefits of multidisciplinary collaboration. Steph has witnessed first-hand the result of this approach in helping to improve the quality of life for patients with long-term conditions.
Our MS service offers support, information and advice to people living with MS. MS can be a complicated condition to navigate, Steph is here to listen, offer emotional support, and help to coordinate your care. Steph can support as a central point of contact and refer into local services such as neurologists, Neuro Physiotherapy and Speech and language therapy. Steph aims to empower clients in self-management strategies and direct patients and their families to relevant resources and support groups.
A registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, Steph maintains a commitment to continuous professional development and regular training, including the training of the The Multiple Sclerosis Trust that equips her with current evidence based practice in Multiple Sclerosis care.
Patient empowerment is a cornerstone of Steph’s approach to nursing. She believes in empowering patients to actively participate in their own care, making informed decisions and taking responsibility for their well-being.
Steph is a positive and approachable member of the team who keeps patients at the centre of all she does.
